Prohibition in Springfield

I think the producer of the Simpson's did an excellent job of portraying life during prohibition in the early 20's. The accurately portrayed peoples fears of alcohol overtaking society, the smuggling of alcohol (bootlegging), and the use of speakeasies. Their were few inaccuracies in the show. That is why I believe it was very well produced. I enjoyed the episode very much and enjoyed the creativity of the humor and how they mixed in historical aspects and facts, without losing the comedic value.

If they should re-write any scene, It should be the scene at the very beginning which they are all poking Bart. The scene was useless in the episode. They could have used it to set up what was going on. Also i would have set the episode in the 20's and make it black and white.
